A place where sensitivity is celebrated
I recently heard about a team that started a weekly appreciation ritual where each member shared something positive about a colleague, highlighting their unique strengths and their sensitivities.
This practice created a unique atmosphere where everyone felt valued for who they were!
Improving communication
Effective communication is at the center of successful businesses with happy employees.
Here’s a simple strategy for clear communication:
- Providing meeting agendas beforehand
- Allowing time for reflection
- Encouraging open dialogue
Physical work environments
Having designated cozy corners and adjustable lighting options could be great and welcomed additions by any highly sensitive staff.
It’s like creating little sanctuaries within the office space because you know that different people need different comfort or productive zones to feel good to do good work.
