Welcome to the Sensitive in Nature Podcast!

There is a profound connection between highly sensitive people and the natural world.

In this transformation from the Am I Ok podcast into the Sensitive in Nature podcast, we’ll discuss how highly sensitive people often spend time in nature as a sanctuary for rest, solace, and rejuvenation.

When I first started [the] Am I Ok [podcast] in 2021, it was born out of a simple yet powerful question. It was a space for candid conversations about mental health, self-discovery, and finding our way in this complex world.

This podcast felt right at the time because it served as a space to connect after the COVID-19 pandemic, and from all of the uncertainty about the world and our future.

However, as the uncertainty lessened and we have all recreated our lives in the aftermath of the pandemic, the space for this podcast has also shifted.

Creating [the] Sensitive in Nature [podcast] began as a profound realization that there’s a deep connection between our emotional wellbeing and our environment. I found solace in nature, and I wanted to share that sanctuary with all of you.

The shift from Am I Ok to Sensitive in Nature is not only about a change in the name of the podcast but also due to a transformation in its purpose.

What will happen in Sensitive in Nature?

In this transformed podcast, we’ll be going deeper into the healing power of the natural world, the science behind it, and how highly sensitive people can tap into their own sensitivities as well as those within nature to find balance and harmony in their lives.

Throughout this podcast, there will be discussions with people whose lives have been changed by nature as well as experts in the field to uncover why.

But remember, this journey isn’t just about the grandeur of mountains or the serenity of forests, it’s about discovering the beauty and sensitivity within ourselves. It’s about finding strength in vulnerability, and embracing the innate connection we share with the world around us.
